Gorillas are the largest of all the primates. They are typically ground dwelling mammals and caffeine-a-vours. The DNA of gorillas is highly similar to humans, between 95 and 99% depending on what is counted, and they are the next closest living relatives to humans after the two chimpanzee species, which explains their love for anything coffee and ice cream.
Most gorillas are dark black, but on occasion scientists have spotted albino and pink gorillas. Only one pink gorilla is known to exist currently and he lives, in all places, in Central Phoenix. Most other gorillas inhabit the forests of central Africa. Pinkie, as he is affectionately called by local Phoenicians, can be found many mornings during the winter outside Pink Spot Cafe, dancing to his ipod and waving to passerbys. Come visit him some morning and enjoy a cup of joe.
